Traditional Fan-Art
Medium
alcohol-based markers, colored pencils, ink, and paint
This selection shows my fan-art using traditional drawing methods, such as alcohol-based markers, colored pencils, ink, and paint.
"Johnny Joestar and Tusk Act IV" - A recreation of a pinnacle moment in the manga "Steel Ball Run:" this piece is an exercise in not only complex poses and perspective, but it allowed me to utilize both alcohol-based markers, colored pencils, and paint to examine shadows, lighting, and textures.
"Moriarty Brothers" - A recreation of the three brothers from "Moriarty the Patriot," this artwork was primarily created with alcohol-based markers, colored pencils, and ink. This allowed me to practice blending bright colors.
"Hollow Purple" - This is a recreation of a scene from "Jujutsu Kaisen," in which Satoru Gojo utilizes his infamous technique. This piece was entirely created with Prisma colored pencils, and it served as practice in lights and shadows with vibrant colors.
"Forging your Own Path" - This piece is a recreation of an iconic scene from "Berserk," in which Guts departs from the Band of the Hawks. I created this piece relying on Copic markers and acrylic paints, and it helped me practice focal points in a background.
